Rustic Afternoon

If you are in New York, my Albuquerque gallery, “New Grounds” will be at the Affordable Art Fair in New York City: Sept 28-Oct 2, 2016.

I’ll have 8 photo encaustic pieces in this event. My work sold out last year so if you want to see them get there early.

Here is the info on this really big art show.
“Affordable Art Fair NYC will return to the Metropolitan Pavilion this September for its exciting fall 2016 edition with 70 local, national, and international galleries offering an array of original artwork from more than 500 artists. The concept is simple, yet unique: an inspiring and friendly atmosphere in which you can find thousands of original paintings, prints, sculptures and photographs all under one roof, ranging from $100-$10,000, with more than half priced under $5,000!

Sold Out in New York

Framed Beesworks
My Albuquerque gallery, Matrix Fine Art took my first five mixed media pieces, photography with beeswax, resin and oil, to the 2015 Affordable Art Fair in New York and we sold out.
Each of these pieces is a one-off though I may use the same photograph in different sizes. I have five more 8″ X 10″ framed works, see my Beesworks gallery.
An artist friend told me he thinks I have found my voice. I hope so.

Yay for me!

After several years of trying to get into this show with my more traditional landscapes, one of my scanner images, “Crawdad’s Fiesta,” was selected as the poster image for the Annual New Mexico Photographic Art 2015 show in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

This image came from my Scanamouche series. These images were created on a scanner using fabric as background and mostly sunlight from the back.

If you are in Albuquerque Dec. 5 come to the reception. I’ll be there. Information is on the poster shown here or contact me.
